The Caliber features a custom designed BASH Amplifier. This amplifier technology has an incredible and proven track record in the industry. Reliable, powerful and fantastic sound quality is the hallmark of BASH amplifier technology.

The amplifier features a switching technology that is very efficient. This is definitely keeping in line with our other components. The Caliber’s driver and the cabinet have both been painstakingly designed to be efficient as well. When these three components are assembled together, they equal more than the sum of their parts.

The amplifier is also designed with sound quality in mind. BASH technology features a class AB preamplifier section with a class D output section. In simple terms, the amplifier is simply keeping track of the input signal so the output section is never overproducing wattage and wasting it as heat. The result is a high efficiency amplifier which does not compromise sound quality.

To take this a step further we increased the standard size of the amplifier plate. The larger anodized aluminum plate actually does a better job of dissipating heat from the amplifier itself. It allows the amplifier to run cooler for longer periods of time. The result is better cooling and reduced heat build up for more dynamic performance during demanding real-world use.

This amplifier is also very easy to use. It features both low and high levels inputs which allow nearly anybody to successfully use the Caliber in their system. Both home theater and two-channel stereo setups can be connected to it with no hassle.

An array of simple and effective controls are also on hand to allow users to accurately dial in and fine tune the subwoofer’s performance in their system. Gain adjustment, crossover settings and phase control are all very easy to use. There is even a special dedicated LFE low-level input available that allows you to bypass the crossover on our amplifier and instead control it with your receiver.

The amplifier has been designed to merge with our driver and amplifier seamlessly. It has the raw power to push our driver to achieve massive output levels and still sound musical and accurate. The end result is an amplifier that proudly bears our logo.
